Taking a tired house back to a good one, top to bottom
Renovating a whole house is a different discipline from building a new one. Nothing is square, nothing is documented, and every wall you open up has an opinion. The job is to sequence it so the surprises land early, while there is still budget and programme to absorb them.

Strip-out and the honest survey
Once the plaster is off you find out what you actually bought. We strip out, look properly at structure, damp, roof and services, and come back to you with a revised picture before we build anything on top of a wrong assumption.
Structure, roof and weathertight
Roof repairs or recovering, chimneys, lintels, steels for new openings, repointing and render. Martin Cheater's review came from exactly this end of the work: “Matt carried out some significant repairs to our roof... the end result was excellent.”
Rewire, replumb and modern systems
Full rewires, new heating and hot water, underfloor heating, insulation and ventilation, plus the data, lighting control and smart systems that people actually want now — integrated at first fix, not surface-mounted afterwards, and certified by the specialists who install them.
Plaster, joinery and finishes
Plastering, flooring, staircases, doors, skirting and architrave, kitchens, bathrooms and decoration. Our interior finishing work is what ties a renovation together and stops it reading as a collection of separate repairs.
